Our Lord Jesus is Yahweh Rapha the God that heals! Jesus stated, “I am willing, be healed” and this divine statement emphatically declares that healing and miracles are the will of God for us today! In this powerful resource, Billy provides Biblical evidence which reveals how the blood atonement of Christ along with our faith and obedience work together to manifest the abundant life Christ promises in John 10:10. Being spiritually unprepared for adversity is the leading reason individuals become overwhelmed with fear and confusion and are often defeated. However, when we accept our covenant responsibility, God’s wisdom within our mind and soul releases His authority and activates His power.
If we do not have the spiritual understanding to fight a battle against a headache, how will we ever win the war against a life-threatening situation? God moves within His holy Word which is His will and this includes the demand for His soldiers to be accountable as fierce warriors skilled in discernment and wisdom of spiritual warfare. “And when Jesus called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease” Matthew 10:1. We indeed receive what we believe but faith is more than knowledge. The only way we can know the power of His resurrection is to abide in blood-covenant with Him. Within these pages, we will learn about surrendering our will, total salvation, divine realities of blood covenant, conditions and laws of faith, the power of decrees, spiritual authority, seed-time, and harvest, knowing God’s general and specific will, our atonement and reconciliation, the difference between hoping to be healed and speaking directly to destructive forces in Jesus Name, and so much more. Christ has already paid the price for everything we need and is now waiting to release His miracles for His glory! As God’s royal priesthood, our victories are demonstrated by pleading His Blood, declaring His Name, and standing on His Truth! Every person through their words will choose life or death. Which reality will you embrace?

In Dr. Holland’s latest release, “Receiving Our Healing – Going to War on Our Knee’s” we are learning that Jesus, who healed and delivered 2000 years ago is the same Jesus who is asking us today, “What can I do for you?” Is it God’s will to heal us? With 149 verses about healing, we can confirm that His will is His Word. Our health is one of the most precious and valuable treasures in this realm, and we would assume that all humans would be desperately seeking the benefits from the blood covenant of Jesus, but strangely this is not the case. Why? Many have no desire to know and obey His Word about anything. We realize that everyone wants a miracle, but trusting God requires a personal relationship with Him and this is where most people feel more comfortable trusting a doctor that does not interfere with their spiritual life. Medical science is indeed used by God to help us, but in many cases, only the symptoms of most chronic diseases can be treated. However, we read that when the Lord touches someone who believes, sickness completely disappears in submission to His divine power. Our Father is absolutely good, He loves those who are suffering and wants them to know it is by Jesus’ stripes they are healed. Christ declares in Luke 11:11, “If you are a father and your children need bread, will you give them a stone? If they ask for a fish will you give them a serpent?” Allow God’s infinite truth to encourage, and increase your faith to ask, knock, and seek to draw nearer to Him and to receive your miracle that has already been paid for. “Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise” Jeremiah 17:14.
A VIOLENT FAITH
This is an excerpt from our new book being released soon, “Receiving Our Healing – Going To War On Our Knees.”
Levels of faith are based on how passionate we are to know God and our desire to advance into His Spirit. I know those that are sold out to Him and spend their time talking to Him and listening to Him. Some have advanced so deep in their faith they testify of having amazing spiritual experiences including being shown prophetic visions, revelations, and sacred mysteries. Again, we see the seed and harvest principle that is the basis of our natural and spiritual life. It’s true that many have never had the privilege to have these dramatic encounters, but let us remember these are the same people who have never devoted their lives seeking them. We can say with all confidence that our Creator wants us to find Him more than we want to find Him. Asking, knocking, and searching are spiritual principles and yet most people have no interest to invest their time into God and His truth. The problem is they are so focused on carnal distractions they do not care what God wants to say or show them. These are the ones who call on others in times of crisis because they have no idea what is happening or how to pray. I want to ask some questions; How determined are you to enter into the holy of holies with God? How desperate are you to be healed? Would you consider fighting and suffering for it? Would you be willing to fast for 40 days as a way to show God you are serious about surrendering your will to Him, not just now but for the rest of your life? We trust His promises and He knows our hearts. Some might agree this is the perfect environment for a miracle, but is this enough? I believe miracles can be received, but they are not just about Jesus helping us and then we go back to the way we were. It is about a lifestyle change. I perceive that our love and effectiveness within His kingdom is measured by how fervently passionate we are to know and obey Him. Walking in His Spirit is allowing Him to become your Lord as He leads and guides you into His perfect will. If you are not obedient, He is not your Lord.
Many do not have the revelation that Jesus conquered Satan and has given this authority to His remnant for the purpose of releasing His glory. Colossians 2:15 declares, “When He (Jesus) had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross.” We are anointed and are called to represent Him in every circumstance so that everyone can see and know who He is. Remember when you fear something that has already been defeated, it has every right to defeat you because this is a spiritual principle. The fear does not even need to be real, the influence only has to be planted in your mind and this is why Satan’s most powerful weapon is the ability to persuade the emotions. The Bible is trying to enlighten us to the fact that God has already defeated everything associated with the kingdom of darkness and now we are commanded to believe and embrace His supremacy as we declare victory in His Name. Does violent faith include physically protesting against what we believe is wrong? Did Jesus not physically turn the money changers tables over because He knew they were wrong? In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus declared, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” This is what Jesus did and is exactly what He wants to continue to do THROUGH those who will love Him with all of their mind, heart, and soul. Nonetheless, I warn you, this dynamic overcoming lifestyle will require a violent faith. Allow me to present you with a consideration; is there anything in this world that would convict you to the point of being burned at the stake? Is this too extreme? It is time to understand the revelation of radical faith and activate it today or we will spend eternity regretting the excuses we made to avoid it.
I have felt God’s presence and I am very grateful humbled and grateful when I sense His glory. I am asking God in my prayers and training my mind and conscience to live in a stronger state of discernment so that I can recognize what is going on around me. I want to know God’s thoughts and His will so that as His disciple I can truly follow Him. The truth is that we have the ability to hear His still small voice and abide in His authority IF that is truly what we desire. Is this what you want more than anything in the world? Every fighter who steps in the ring believes they will win and this is the attitude we must have when we pray as victorious warriors for God. Is this not what faith is about? A half-hearted perspective produces nothing as James 1:5-7 declares. The remnant is learning self-control as we are becoming a holy bride without spot or wrinkle. Christ is transforming, purifying, and preparing us as wise virgins to meet Him when He returns. These are the ones who have allowed their carnal nature to die so they can embrace God’s perfect will. “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone [just one grain, never more]. But if it dies, it produces much grain and yields a harvest. The one who loves his life [eventually] loses it [through death], but the one who hates his life in this world [and is concerned with pleasing God] will keep it for life eternal” (John 12:24-25). Just as the seed must “lose its life” to fulfill its ultimate purpose, so too is each member of God’s remnant required to lay down their will in order to gain eternity. This does not only pertain to physical death or martyrdom, but rather the willingness to sacrifice everything associated with keeping their flesh on the throne of their heart. Our Creator is demanding that we literally become the seasoned soldier that so many of our hymns talk about. The Almighty is a God of war, and those who have taken the holy vow to be in covenant with Him have also accepted that becoming a front-line warrior is NOT an option. His sword is an offensive weapon which is His infinite truth and defeats the lies and deception of darkness. We are called to walk in love and all the character attributes of Christ, but this does not prevent us from exercising a violent faith when God calls us to engage. No one can rebuke the powers of wickedness or fulfill what Jesus died for them to be without this state of mind. As Solomon told the Lord, he wanted wisdom to be a just and faithful leader, we notice this attitude pleased God. This desire for wisdom and discernment are crucial in spiritual warfare as we must constantly comprehend His detailed instructions in every situation. It is impossible to know or serve God if we do not have an ear to hear what He is saying.
Like you, I want to be healed so that I can serve Him and fulfill His plans for me. The disease I have affects every part of my body and I am believing God will heal me gradually or instantly whichever He chooses. The doctors say there is not a cure but just like in every sickness they attempt to treat; they are wrong. Jesus does not treat symptoms, He heals completely. The medical world’s only answer for my particular problem is a transplant, and I believe that God is either going to give me brand new kidneys or He is going to restore the ones I have. I will humbly receive a transplant like many who have gone before me if there is one available, and I’m grateful to the Lord for giving doctors His wisdom and providing helpful treatments. I have a strong will to live and have no doubts that He can give me a miracle. Jesus said in Matthew 18:18, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Who is doing the binding and loosing here? We are! How do we do it? We must have knowledge and understanding, we must have faith and believe who God is and who He is in us, then we must speak it forth knowing that God empowers our verbal confessions to accomplish His will. Bind the enemy from your life and loose God’s blessings in the name of Jesus! In Luke 10:19 Jesus promises, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Are you noticing some key points here? Jesus said I give YOU the power to triumph over Satan and his evil spirits and these spirits must yield and bow down to you. This is one of the most direct statements from heaven concerning spiritual warfare and should be an amazing encouragement to those who decide to accept God’s military orders. Remember, we will have two different battles if we have sincerely enlisted for His service. The first is with our carnal nature because it does not want to fight and the second is with demons that will do everything they can to stop us.
We agree Jesus wants to heal us, but how can we find a way to channel His healing power into us? We’ve heard from the ancient oriental culture about how the human body contains positive and negative energy and many others around the planet have also confirmed this truth. Science has proven that our temple is filled with electrical impulses, and psychology declares the state of the mind along with attitudes are directly associated with our overall health. Many seekers will agree that all of these factors work together and play a major role in our well-being. When we include the realities of the atonement along with our faith, purity, and obedience and blend them with these natural components, we are producing a perfect atmosphere for a miracle. Our traditional approach to sickness is to say, “Lord, I’m at your mercy,” and it’s true that Jesus did respond to these sincere requests. Some will say fold their hands and say, “it is up to God and His will.” However, according to the outline within the Tabernacle of Moses, the rules of engagement within spiritual warfare, and the New Testament blueprint of total salvation, we are to possess aggressive confidence toward what has come against us. Everything happens for a reason, but the sad reality is that most people do not comprehend that in most cases the tragedy could have been prevented if someone had been close enough to Jesus to know how the Holy Spirit wanted them to intervene. For example, we know it is not God’s will for a child to die from cancer or a 48-year-old father of seven to die of pneumonia. So, what happened? God did not take them from their families because He needed them in heaven. Their lives were stolen by a ruthless killer who knows that most people do not have a clue about spiritual warfare. We notice Jesus speaking in Matthew chapter 11 about how His kingdom experiences much resistance, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” When we search for the meaning within the context, we must include the verses which precede and follow. Jesus is speaking about how the world rejects the truth about the power of God and how many will be judged for serving their flesh. We understand He is saying that no matter who He sends to speak the gospel, people will not believe unless they are consumed with seeking His revelation wisdom. The concept of being aggressive to stand for our convictions and defend against what we oppose has everything to do with whom we pledge our allegiance. How can we stand against evil if we are not close enough to God to know His thoughts? If we are not passionate about what we believe, we will never care enough about any crisis to fight for it and we will not receive God’s blessings now or in the next life. If we are not willing to stand strong on the battlefield, the devil will overpower us because he is certainly fighting against us. Do not consider yourself God’s warrior to raise the dead if you do not have the faith to speak healing to a runny nose.
Everyone is given the same opportunity to receive salvation, the Holy Spirit, to know God’s promises, to be aware of angels as ministering spirits, and absorb the infinite power and presence of the indwelling Jesus, and yet people speak curses upon their lives, they are weak, blind, and filled with sin, fear, worry, doubt, and anxiety. We have all the time in the world to prepare and grow strong in God and yet we see those around us who are satisfied to live in carnality and spiritual ignorance. Why? Because they do not know the Lord personally. They do not believe Him. They do not trust Him. Then when something terrible happens, they cry out for prayer but do not have the strength or faith to believe for themselves. Is God’s plan for the overcoming church to be filled with sickness and fear? Absolutely not! Is being defeated with intentional sin and spiritual lukewarmness the representation of a remnant warrior that speaks God’s Word and is used as an extension of His signs and wonders? No! Can those who play religious games light up a room with the glory and authority of Christ? Again no! We are discovering that actors and fakers who refuse to crucify their flesh and be filled with the fullness of God’s Spirit will not have victory in the battles of spiritual warfare. Those who spend more time focused on their carnality than in their prayer closet will be destroyed by a ruthless enemy that has no sympathy. We must stop begging and start speaking God’s Word back to Him. He promised that His Word is true, and we must be confident enough in His truth to declare that His Word cannot fail. Are we not to quote His declarations back to Him and to believe and trust they will bring the miracle that He promised? How can He deny anyone what He has promised? Until the individual understands and incorporates a warrior mentality of aggressive violence within their faith against the kingdom of darkness, they will not be able to experience the victory that Christ has provided. Since Christ dwells within his followers, He has also commanded us in Mark 16:17–18 to continue releasing His power as He leads us: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Are these signs manifesting in your life? Are you praying they will be soon? Since we are born again, God’s power does not have to travel very far because He lives within us. He is pouring His Spirit into us as His authority is being poured out through our words and hands. “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” This confirms the reality that the evil of darkness can never overcome the light and love of God. And yet, most Christians allow doubt and fear to dictate their mind and control the way they live.
In John 9:3, Jesus saw a man who was blind from his birth. His disciples asked the Lord who sinned that caused him to be born without sight. Listen to this statement, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, said Jesus, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” Listen closely, most people are not healed because they have ignored God in their lives and suddenly they want Him to fix it. They do not pray or have an awareness of His constant presence, they have not developed faith, they do not believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they have not studied God’s Word, and they have problems with sin including unforgiveness. Their heart is not pure before God and when tragedy strikes, they do not have enough of God’s Spirit within them to overcome what is trying to kill them. Often, even the prayers of others cannot overcome the lack of spiritual understanding of those who are suffering. We cannot skip through life without a concern for our spiritual advancement with God and then expect suddenly to have discernment or operate in a high level of mountain moving faith out of thin air. What will it take for people to understand how dangerous it is to ignore their spiritual life? Many have needlessly gone to the grave because they failed to follow God’s divine order to take His Word seriously. One of our greatest failures as Christians has been the avoidance of understanding and implementing the reality of demonic warfare. We went to church, read Bible stories, and sang some songs, but we were not taught about blood covenant nor were we trained how to fight against Satan. We might know about Noah’s Ark, but we do not know what to do when we are spiritually attacked. Unfortunately, in most cases no.
There is a story about a woman who found a black mamba frozen in the snow. She felt sorry for the beast and picked it up and brought it into the house. She laid it on the hearth in front of the fire hoping the heat would revive it. A few hours later, the ice had melted, and it started moving around. The woman was thrilled and as she reached down to pet it, the snake bit her so fast she hardly knew what happened. She fell to the floor as the venom immediately began to take her life. She asked the serpent, “why did you bite me, I was trying to save you?” The snake laughed and said, “you are a fool. You knew I was highly poisonous and deadly and yet you thought I had a conscience. I have one purpose in life and that is to kill and destroy and your lack of discernment has cost you your life.” Most of God’s people have fallen victim to the deadly wages of sin because they wanted to pet it instead of crushing it. God cursed the serpent in Genesis 3:15, “I will make you and the woman hostile toward each other. I will make your descendants and her descendant hostile toward each other. He will crush your head, and you will bruise his heel.” How much clearer can God be about how this life is a constant spiritual battle? The lack of spiritual warfare training is why the church is weak and defeated. The devil entered the churches to prevent revelation wisdom about this danger from being taught. He stopped families from teaching their children about casting out demons, anointing with oil and laying hands on the sick, and rebuking the attacks from hell in the Name of Jesus. He inspired entertaining religious programs to distract Christians from becoming a violent army against him and it has worked. When you mention spiritual warfare to the average Christian, they stare at you with confusion and fear. Satan knows it is easy to distract those who are not serious about being transformed by the renewing of their mind. The enemy of our soul is not threatened when people play religious games, but he knows he cannot stand against the name and the blood of Jesus when demonstrated in faith. If we are not dedicated to setting our face like flint in the reality of spiritual warfare, we will never walk as an overcomer in the kingdom of God. Setting your face like flint implies that you expect opposition and are determined to stand strong in the face of adversity. To set your face like flint means to regard these difficulties as worthwhile when you consider what they will lead you to. Now that you know what is required you have no excuse for being defeated. Miracles and healing can be obtained, but before we go to war against the kingdom of darkness, we must first conquer our carnal will.
Jesus is good all the time, but this does NOT mean that everyone is always excited about what He has to say. Most people will agree that He is absolute truth, can never tell a lie, can never fail, and He is perfect from alpha to Omega. Christianity is the only faith in the world that celebrates a resurrected God! Yet, these very same people are not interested in His teachings and instructions about how to live. This should give everyone a glimpse of the powerful persuasion of the human will and our weakness to fighting against it. God has never been defeated in anything and He does not want us to lose any battles either. I want us to think about the word “default” for a moment. It is defined as, “Something that is arranged in advance to automatically happen. Failing to do something that is expected, the decision to ignore a responsibility to fulfill an obligation.” When we examine God’s plan for total salvation, we realize the “good news” is the true account of how much He loves the world and sacrificed His only Son to save and heal those who would believe. This is truly the best news in the history of the world. However, before we can fully understand and appreciate the good news, we need to have a proper comprehension of the bad news. Which is? Many are emotionally deceived and interpret salvation much differently than God. Yeshua is our pattern and always lived to do the will of the Father. He never did any work or spoke any word that arose from His own soul, intellect, will, or emotions. He was perfectly surrendered to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He did only those things the Father revealed to Him to do. In Matthew 7:21-23, The eternal righteous judge tells many to depart from Him as disobedience is being guilty of lawlessness no matter how hard we work or how many good deeds we accomplish. The emotional realm of the soul is not to be the guide for the Christian.
When we ask people if they are going to Heaven when they die, almost everyone would say yes. According to a national poll a few years ago, two-thirds of Americans believed they would go to Heaven. But, another equally important question is WHY they believe this? The common responses include how nearly every human believes they are a good person. Without keeping score, most people are convinced they have done more good in their lives than bad which tips the scales in their favor. Here is the huge problem: Heaven is NOT our automatic default destination. Living with God for all eternity is not a place where everyone goes unless we choose to live extremely evil which would remove our name from the list. It seems for many, their emotional imagination which is an extension of our fallen human nature believes if you are not a serial killer or a child rapist you are going to be fine. This is exposed when every funeral service always talks about the deceased being in a better place. People do not want to think about hell and many do not believe a loving and gracious God would actually send decent, honest, hard-working people there. It gives us a sense of peace to believe those we love are walking on the streets of gold. So, it seems logical and fair to the intelligent mind that Heaven would be automatic for those who would give you the shirt off their back. The problem is that in many cases it’s not true. The truth is that humans are born in a depraved spiritual state and the default eternal destination is hell. If anyone chooses to accept this default and refuses to respond to the gospel and neglects being born-again, they are NOT going to Heaven no matter how good people say they are. I pray the eyes of many will be opened to see this reality before it is too late.
Another crucial reality between the divine and default is that sickness is our default curse until we release our faith and receive divine healing through the blood covenant of Jesus. It is His new, “Will and Testament” which offers to empower us to be transformed into a new creation here in this life and the one to come. Because of our sinful nature, we are NOT holy and according to God’s perfect judgment we cannot be allowed to enter Heaven without being redeemed. We must be changed from our default spiritual condition and transformed into a new spiritual identity as our charismatic personality and generosity have nothing to do with it. This will require receiving Christ as the Savior of our life and allowing Him to become our Lord who controls us. The world is deceived as they choose to believe that 95 percent of mankind will go to Heaven and that hell is reserved for the 5 percent who are hideously evil. Indeed, these lost souls are included on hell’s list, but Matthew 7:13-14 explains the percentages much differently. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Again, we know that man’s understanding has it backwards. The overwhelming majority of humans are living in the broad way of sin which is the default nature and only God can transform the mind and spirit into a new creation.
When I look around me, my heart breaks because of those who live in the default with sickness and do not know about the divine reality of miracles. The lack of spiritual wisdom causes the people to perish. We must follow His lead when sharing with people about blood covenant as this can make them resent us and possibly burn the bridge of our relationship completely. Only when God arranges a divine appointment where He navigates and anoints, can we be effective ministering to those who need the Lord and His covenant blessings. Yes, we are called to be filled with joy and hope, but at the same time the remnant follower of Christ lives in a state of sorrow. Why? Because many we know do not have a personal relationship with Jesus in this life and will also not be with Him in eternity. Does this make you weep? Does this drive you to your knees to intercede on their behalf? If you have no compassion for those who are blind, you are obviously not filled with the Holy Spirit and may not be in covenant with God. The Bible reveals Jesus was a man of sorrow as He was always thinking about pleasing His father and those He was called to save. He knew how many souls will reject Him and miss out on the amazing plan of redemption. “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not” (Isaiah 53:3). Let’s take a moment to ponder about the heaviness of this burden. Knowing how much God loved the world and yet they spit in His face and screamed, “Crucify Him.” Those who follow Him also share a portion of this sorrow and are brokenhearted over the wickedness of this world. It’s true, we can celebrate how much God loves us and our love for Him, but it does not change the fact that the majority of all mankind will suffer a default existence without Him in this life and the one to come.
Yes, there is devastation happening all around us, but is this driving people to their knees to pray or causing them to hide under the bed in fear? If we call ourselves Christian, we are called to rise and be used as a catalyst to manifest miracles because this is His perfect plan. Do not listen to the foolish teachings that say miracles have passed away after the disciples died and Jesus does not move like this anymore. If this is true, we have a major problem trying to explain why the reality of faith has changed and how we are now subject to suffering without hope. If there is no spiritual power and authority for believers, why does the Bible speak so much about us engaging in spiritual warfare? This dangerous passive view would require that we change all of our doctrines about prayer, intercession, and deliverance, our creeds about patience, hope, trust, mercy, faith, the power of God, spiritual authority in Jesus Name, God’s promises, scripture interpretations, approaching God’s throne with confidence, and every other command. This would mean that we are chosen to be vulnerable to Satan and the consequences of the Fall and that whatever will be, will be. This cancels the battle cry, “Prayer changes things.” Many will be satisfied to remain lethargic but I WILL NOT accept ANY proclamation of defeat! I refuse to believe the spiritual atmosphere has been adjusted or modified. God’s Word says that he is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. May God be true and every man a liar. He is still moving among us by His Spirit, His gospel is the same, His authority is the same, and I have every reason to accept that all of His teachings and instructions have not changed. Cessationism is the doctrine that the gifts of the Holy Spirit including healing are no longer operating today. This deception is the devil’s way of stopping God’s power to be released within the world so the masses cannot witness God’s authority and power to heal. It’s sad when those who consider themselves a disciple of Christ have become content to play church instead of doing God’s will. Declaring that healing has passed away is the perfect escape from being used as a vessel of honor for His glory.
When James talks about calling the elders or spiritual leaders to pray and anoint whoever is sick, we notice this is a serious responsibility for all Christians to be ready to respond with a high level of discernment and faith to know how to manifest God’s authority. As a firefighter, law enforcement, or medical first responder, we must also be trained and prepared to enter into spiritual combat. Like the electrical tool, we must be connected to the power source, so that we can be anointed to do whatever God is saying. We are an important part of the process, but we are only channels and vessels of His will. OK, now let us ask, “Why do we need to call for someone else to help heal us? Why can’t we just go straight to Jesus?” We can, but we must remember that even though Jesus is all that we need, the authority of prayer is multiplied when we join forces with other warriors in one accord. Intercessory agreement is not a new concept, it is a Biblical principle. Matthew 18:19 says, “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” In Acts 1:14 we read, “They all joined together constantly in prayer,” and in 4:14, “They raised their voices together in prayer.” The concept of unity is a key as Acts 2:1 declares they all, “With one accord.” And what were the results? The boldness and confidence of their aggressive faith through the Holy Spirit activated God’s miracle energy to release Peter from prison. Jacob is another individual who manifested violent faith when he wrestled the angel for his blessing. Jacob here represents determination, perseverance, and a tenacity to never let go of your petitions and never give up on the vision you believe God has given to you. The ladder represents the mercy of God toward man and is another invitation for all who believe to be connected with Him and embrace this covenant relationship. Yahweh always makes the first move and pursues those He loves. Jesus is the ultimate ladder and bridge between heaven and earth as the only mediator between God and His people. Do not be intimidated to be persistent in your prayers.
When Jesus ministered, it was common for Him to deal with people one-on-one. He sincerely asked the individual what they needed, and He touched them and healed them. We must know that what He is saying is exactly what He means. Do not listen to emotional reasoning or negativity, as these lies will try to steal our confidence in who God is. Remember the walls of Jericho did not fall because the people had a board meeting and came up with a logical religious idea. It happened because they did exactly what God told them to do. Obedience is better than sacrifice which is why we must have an ear to hear every detail of what the Holy Spirit is relaying to us. God does not want our plan, He’s waiting for someone to trust His plan. Yahweh always makes the first move and pursues those He loves. Focus on Christ and repeat these words until your conscience becomes saturated and your words become like rivers of living water that are filled with His creative power. “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it” (John 14:13–14). In John 15:7, we read another confirmation that God wants to give us the miracles we need. “IF ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” Does He mean what He is saying? Of course! The concept of “abiding” in God is a huge subject in itself, nevertheless, it is a direct promise to God’s children that we can ask for our healing and receive miracles as a result of us loving and trusting Him with ALL of our mind, heart, and soul. It is confusing to consider that God would choose to provide a miracle at certain times and refuse to manifest His power in other situations. How would we know when to decree in faith and when to stop believing? He is NOT the author of confusion and will never contradict His Word.
God is more concerned with our spiritual condition than our physical bodies, but we will never know His intricate plan for us until we personally know Him. Listen to another promise found in John 5:14–15: “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” This amazing passage mentions having confidence in Him and this can only come from knowing Him. Do we need to beg for something that He has already provided through the cross? No! Within our covenant salvation, are we afraid that He will reject, contradict, or refuse to keep His promises? Of course not! If we believe that physical healing applies only to certain people and special occasions, we are declaring that His predetermined plans will always be the final answer instead of the petitions we pray with boldness and confidence. If we accept that miracles have already been decided instead of what we are interceding for, then we become very casual and unsure of the outcome just like the attitude of the religious world today. If the person passes away from their sickness, we are left with the conclusion that it was not our fault but God’s sovereign decision. If they are healed, we rejoice that God heard our prayers and intervened. I have more questions: Has this “safety net” doctrine caused faith to be diminished? Are people hiding behind the idea that whatever happens is always God’s will? Yes, sadly I hear this confusing philosophy all the time. My heart breaks when I hear about a person giving up when told they have cancer and only 30 days to live. Does God want them to be destroyed or does He want them to fight and win? Let’s put it this way, our heavenly Father has never lost a battle. Is there ever a time when people fail in their faith and God’s desire is not accomplished? Absolutely. I meet a lot of people in the hospitals and nursing homes and it’s heartbreaking to see people that have never studied the Bible or walked with God and find themselves on their deathbed without a clue about spiritual warfare. If a person waits until the last second to learn about covenant life, there is not enough time to build faith. Life is filled with failures on our part but hopefully, we will have time to learn from our mistakes and this is how we mature and grow stronger in our faith. If we are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty, we will know His plans and what to expect. If being filled with His Spirit is something we are not interested in, we will shrug our shoulders like everyone else, bewildered, and confused.
The failure of Christians to walk with God is to blame for the ruination of this nation and the world. Evil governments are the strongholds of darkness whose agenda is to dominate the legal and political environment. This happens when the strongman is bound and the thieves are allowed to plunder. The fear of standing for truth and offending those who are spiritually blind, opens the door to infectious demonic bondage. God does not compromise and demands that His servants declare and abide by His perfect standard. When the army of God willingly decides to stop fighting and stores their armor in the closet, we can know the family, community, and our country is defeated and has become a prisoner of war. Spiritual lukewarmness has no desire to fight against evil and if the mind is not revived with the refining fire of holiness, the person will serve their emotions and become an enemy of God. When the conscience becomes seared and the delusion prevents them from being convicted, they lose the sense of right and wrong and do not care how evil the government is as long as they have financial security. This is how the mark of the beast will be implemented and gladly accepted. Satan’s highest objective is to persuade the human race that God cannot be trusted. The devil has accomplished his agenda by influencing nearly all of mankind including many who call themselves Christians, that there is no serious threat or a need to battle against him. Can you see his plan? If spiritual warfare is not taught in church or at home, we know who is controlling the services and the family. Do not talk about living in God’s light if you are not a skilled warrior against the prince of darkness. Our default spiritual condition is blindness and deception and nearly every person fails to recognize their desperate need for God’s truth to set them free from religious false teachings. Many believe that salvation is only a one-time acceptance of an invitation to heaven, but they fail to realize this is not entering into the holy vow of blood covenant with Yeshua. This fictitious doctrine from Satan is the reason why there is no sense of urgency to be a living sacrifice for Christ. I Timothy 4:1 warns us, “Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” Our cultural and social programs did not give God’s people the weapons and tools we needed to become the warrior that we are called to be. Our flesh wanted pleasure and a “heaven on earth” experience without being trained in Holy Ghost boot camp. Our fallen nature has never desired to become an extreme fanatic for Jesus and will always cause us much resistance. The devil does not need to fight against Christians as long as he can tempt and lead them to compromise. Today many are still standing at the crossroad trying to figure out a way to receive miracles without it costing anything. Allow me to say that total salvation is free, but it is not cheap. It required the life of Jesus and to believe that it will cost us anything less is an illusion.
God is not going to drag us from our couch, take the remote control away, make us develop faith, or teach us about spiritual warfare. He will not fill us with the Holy Spirit or force us to pray or meditate about Him when we are not interested. James 4:8 reminds us that God is waiting for us to make the first move. Read carefully, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” Did you notice when we reach out to Him first, He will always respond? It is the power of His LIVING WORD that convicts the human conscience through His Holy Spirit and invites us into His presence. Also notice the emphasis on purity which is being righteous in Christ Jesus. When we become like Him, He promised that His disciples would do even greater works than He did which includes defeating the works of darkness and releasing the miracle power of God in the Name of Jesus. Within the heart of this book is a message that I plead with you to always remember. “You are in a war of life and death whether you choose to believe it or not. You can stand and be victorious in God or you can be passive and be destroyed.”
Whatever you are afraid of has already defeated you. Being afraid reveals that either you do not believe that Jesus paid for your healing on the cross or you do not believe it is His will to heal you. Jesus conquered death and hell as Colossians chapter two declares and yet anxiety, stress, and worry controls most people’s thoughts. Why would those who declare they know nothing is impossible with God doubt Him? This book is filled with promises where God guarantees to release His power to those who believe and are dedicated to giving their hearts to Him. Listen, brothers and sisters, I realize health conditions are real but do not allow your imagination to overwhelm you with opinions and speculations. This is how the devil influences the unrenewed mind to accept defeat without a fight. These haunting scenarios whether factual or not can and will defeat you if you allow them because these lies only have to be planted in your mind. When negative energy and pessimistic voices are allowed to take root they control us and are intended to bring misery and death. The power of life and death are created and established through our words but where did these words originate? They are the fruit of our thoughts. What you enter into, enters into you! Changing your mind changes your destiny! Awaken and take control of your mind before it leads you to the grave. When you give anyone or any circumstance the power to control your emotions, you have lost the ability to manage the mental state of your being. Do you see how important it is to have a violent faith that knows how to engage against the demonic forces that are trying to destroy us? There are forces all around you trying to strong-arm you and you must not only be aware of them but learn how to defeat them. Do you desire to go with God all the way? Spend time alone with Him, share your deepest thoughts and concerns and listen closely. He is waiting to change you from the inside out, to heal and restore, to create and make brand new, but you must surrender your heart to Him.
You are a truth seeker and have an inquiring mind or you would not be absorbing more knowledge. As you have taken the time to dig deeper for solid answers, you are seeing that healing is much more complicated than most people have ever dreamed. I handed someone a copy of this book the other day and they were surprised about the amount of content. I told them this is but a drop in the Ocean of what God has provided through the blood covenant of Christ. Since very few have studied healing and miracles, this is why the masses are oblivious and intimidated when confronted with sickness and disease. Have you noticed how awkward people act at hospitals and funeral homes? It is because they do not know God’s will and are uncomfortable in an atmosphere where they are without understanding or control. People are afraid of what they do not comprehend and this is the reason God wants us to know that we can walk in the constant awareness of His presence. We CAN have discernment and wisdom, we can know His thoughts and plans. We CAN interpret His Word correctly and have spiritual ears to hear what His Spirit is speaking. The potential to have an amazing personal relationship with God is real and includes a constant line of communication, but only if we embrace our covenant vow. However, we will never have eyes to see nor ears to hear divine truth if we choose to build from the blueprint within the default realm of our emotions. It’s heartbreaking that people would rather be destroyed by Satan’s lies than to learn how to stand against him and be victorious in the Name of Jesus.
Within the realm of obedience and faith, I would hope that we realize we cannot just ask for anything and that God is not our servant. Praying amiss comes from not being sincerely connected with Christ and only seeking the sins of the flesh. Janis Joplin seemed to be making fun of prayer when she sang a song that talked about asking God for a Mercedes Benz. However, this scoffing about what God being our Jehovah Jireh, does not mean there is not a reality to prayer or His desire to provide. For those who have a pure heart and know the mind of Christ, we are encouraged by the Lord Himself to step forward and know we have been made worthy to request petitions that correspond with His will. Hebrews 4:16 reminds us, “Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Listen carefully dear saints, this book is centered on the reality that salvation is being in covenant with God. This means what He has is ours and what we have is His. As the Song of Solomon declares in chapter 6, “I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine.” We have spoken much about being aware of His presence and this is simply believing and activating what He promised in His Word and living in the reality that He dwells in the hearts of those who understand they are His vessels of honor. Until you receive the revelation wisdom about how this relationship makes you one with God, you will never fulfill what He has planned for you. Considering all that we have learned about seeking the Lord for healing and all miracles, let us continue asking God to give us sensitivity and humility when we approach Him. Once we have the Father’s instructions, we can continue believing that He is orchestrating circumstances, and that He is managing the situation. The reverential fear of God and His holiness must be the foundation of our intimacy with Him. If we decide that developing this recognition of what He expects of us is what we want more than anything in thi9s life, it will forever change who we are. Pray without ceasing and He will give you the desires of your heart. The Lord has open arms for all who call upon Him, and we can be assured that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Here is an example of a prayer that you can begin confessing today. Create your own personal decrees and speak them boldly every day until they become engraved on the tables of your heart. “And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you” (Genesis 17:7).
Paul learned about warfare as the demon was attacking him with all types of negative psychological influences and tormenting emotional thoughts. it is important to point out that the “thorn” was not a physical illness. His weakness was the lack of understanding about blood covenant and intimidation to rebuke the darkness in the Name of Jesus. God wasn’t ignoring Paul’s pleas for help; He was telling Paul, “I’ve already given you everything you need to be victorious in this situation. My grace is My power given to you in the middle of your weakness. When you are exhausted, My strength is perfected in you. So, stop being negative, stand with confidence and never forget that I live inside of you and I am the greatest authority in existence.” Jesus desires those who are in covenant with Him, then and now to understand they can defeat the darkness as God’s unlimited favor is sufficient to overcome every crisis and provide for every need. You are the only one who can decide how intense the fires of passion for the Lord burns within you. It’s up to you to decide how far you will advance in your personal relationship with Him as the decisions you make today will determine your future. “This is what the Lord says: Let no wise man boast of his wisdom, nor let the mighty man boast of his might, nor a rich man boast of his riches;but let those who boast, boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises mercy, justice, and righteousness on the earth; for I delight in these things, declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 9:23-24).
Yahweh is saying, “I will give you the wedding garments but I will not make them be clean and spotless or make you wear them. It is your prayers and sanctification that leads you into my refining fire. I will give you the weapons for battle but I will never force you to fight.” When prayer was removed from the education system in the sixties, it did not stop the intercessors from praying, but it caused the next generation to not know what it means to pray. The church has always been called to be the watchman on the walls, but when they fell asleep, the enemy crept in at night and sowed tares among the wheat. As God’s disciples were being distracted, the lost people pleaded with an evil government to open the floodgates of hell, and because of the lack of fervent prayer and failure to obey the Holy Spirit, the secular nation claimed victory and could now dictate the media and cultural politics. It’s not that Christians are outnumbered or overpowered because one person and God is a majority, but they are trading prayer for prosperity, surrendering their holy convictions, compromising with the world and breaking their covenant with Jehovah. Religion is perfectly content to lay on the couch and hope that God does not mean what He says. Listen my friend, if you are not walking with God, everything is NOT going to be alright. If you knew Jesus was returning in two years, would you do anything differently than you are now? I ask that you meditate on this seriously and see if the things of this world begin to grow strangely dim. Would you sell everything you have and preach the gospel to every person you see? Would you spend every waking moment praying and seeking God’s instructions? Would you be fearless in the face of hatred and persecution? Are you willing to suffer loss and lay down everything you have in this world to gain Christ?
The weapons of our warfare are given to rebuke the devourer which includes pulling down demonic destructive strongholds intended to keep us from accomplishing what God has planned for us. Satan wants to control our soul which is the mind, will, and emotions, with the intention of stealing our spirit. If anyone is riding the fence about the spiritual principle of binding and loosing in the authority of Christ, they are identified and recognized as those who perish without spiritual knowledge and vision. This is a result of refusing to develop self-discipline to obtain revelation wisdom. Dwelling on the past can keep us in bondage as this is where our struggles and failures can haunt us. Jesus said in Luke 9:62, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Plowing is the labor God has called us to do and He wants us to stay focused with progressing forward. We do not plow backward and this is not the hour to compromise or change our mind about faith or decide that believing is too difficult. Today is the result of decisions we made yesterday as the present is where we are deciding whom we are going to serve and how much we will do. Nonetheless, the future is where our miracle is waiting for us to believe and receive. The revelation of time travel is not science fiction, it is a spiritual command. Until we can see ourselves victorious in the future and live confidently in this realm of the impossible, we will continue accepting the mediocre default existence we have always settled for. The substance of things decreed and hoped for is the abundant life of our future and believing the reality of what has not yet happened is the evidence of things not seen.
“I bind Satan by the authority in the name and blood of Jesus. God has called me, encourages me, commands, and empowers me, to defeat the devil and every demon in the Name of Jesus. I realize there can be no victory in my life until I embrace God’s authority over the devil and my commission to enforce His power against the darkness that desires to bind me and prevent God’s work. I am prepared for warfare, my armor is fastened, my shield and sword are ready at all times. I will be used to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. I will be used to teach God’s truth and with His anointing, and I will be used as a vessel of honor to demonstrate miracles for His glory. I rebuke discouragement, failure, sadness, negativity, anxiety, fear, and frustration in the name of Jesus!
I am binding the devil in the Name of Jesus and by faith; I BREAK his control over my health and my ministry. His influence over me is destroyed and cast into hell! I bind his power to blind the conscience of those I love and I loose the conviction of the Holy Spirit to open their spiritual eyes in Jesus’ Name! I command them to hear the word of the Lord and to repent and be restored to God in Jesus’ Name! I bind Satan’s control over my life, all weaknesses, temptations, and hindrances that attack and try to stop me from fulfilling my destiny. I will be used in divine appointments and will lead many into the kingdom of God. In the name of Jesus, I break the chains that have been holding me from my destiny all these years and I am free to release His light which conquers and overcomes the darkness.
I am investing my life in your service and I know you are breathing your LIFE into my mind, body, and spirit. I am turning away from the influence of the world and I release your power to bring forth much fruit for your glory. I accept my responsibility to engage in spiritual warfare against the kingdom of darkness! I speak to the mountain that is preventing my healing, my anointing, prosperity, and the enlargement of my work and command it to be cast into the sea. You are giving my words creative power and authority and I am accountable to defeat these demonic strongholds in season and out. I pull down evil principalities and they are under my feet in the Name of Jesus.
As a child of your redeemed remnant, I refuse to sit around and feel sorry for myself, as I have decided to put on my armor to pray and fight against my flesh and the realm of darkness. I will intercede continually for discernment and the awareness of your presence. I ask for the correct interpretation of your scriptures and a sensitive ear to hear what the revelation wisdom your Spirit desires to share with me. I will seek and find, I will knock and it shall be opened. I will walk with a clear understanding of your plans. I am a vessel of honor and a light holder for you glory. I will know good from evil and truth from lies. I am a faithful overcomer and will stand boldly for you and against all demonic deceptions and will always know that greater are you who lives in me than he who is in the world. I will endure until the end and by your grace and mercy I will be saved. I will not fear because I know that God has already defeated the kingdom of darkness. All glory I give to you and in the Name of Jesus Christ I seal this word in Heaven and in my heart, amen!
