SEEKERS OF TRUTH

INTRODUCTION

PASSING THE BATON

It’s with sincere humility and love that I write these pages. God has touched my heart and blessed my life with His tender forgiveness and I stand today in awe of His mercy and grace. We have been given some basic guidelines about how to live as we pray for all mankind and intervene so that people would turn away from their idols of pleasure and receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We realize that God desires to increase our revelation of who He is but we must reach out to Him with faith, passion and a relentless determination to know His truth. He desires to embrace and empower His people so we may walk in victory and be a testimony to His greatness, but before an individual can spiritually grow he must invite God and allow Him to take complete control. This is a journey that each child of God must experience if they are to mature and walk with Him in the divine reality of His will. We are born into this world with a carnal nature and spiritually lifeless; a condition which if left unresolved will reap a harvest of not only an empty miserable existence on earth but also eternal consequences of darkness and separation from God. It is this reason that sermons are preached, songs are sung and books are written. God loves the world and does not want anyone to perish. For the remnant warrior, it’s an overwhelming burden to throw out a life preserver and help save those who are drowning in the dark sea of deception.

The Word of God is the only truth that has the inherent power that can cause a soul to be reborn and it is the preservation of this holy truth which inspires me to join the ranks of those who will sound an alarm to the danger of its extinction. There is only one truth and His name is El-Elyon, The Most High God. He is the Father, The Son Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit. There are three distinct individuals, which form a trinity of the one and only true God. The Father is God, Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit is God. They have been from the beginning and will live forever. I do not have to understand all the mysteries of God’s Word in order to accept the absolute truth. I do not promote unity among the religious world if it is to compromise this holy truth. There will never be a time when God will agree with a person’s opinion. God does not bless a deception or agree with a half-truth. He is absolute truth and waits for mankind to listen and obey Him. Taking a definite stand for absolute truth does not discard God’s attributes of love. He is gentle, kind and filled with forgiveness. He understands that there are as many levels of spiritual maturity as there are people. God is the only judge of the heart and He deals with each conscience in His own way in His own time.

The point of absolute truth is not to blanket the world with condemnation but rather preserve the light of truth, which only can do the spiritual work of conviction. Without the realization of what is right and wrong, there is no urgency to repent. Without repentance, there is no forgiveness of sin and without forgiveness, there is a serious distance in our relationship with God. There is little doubt that the war against absolute truth comes from Satan who does not want to see anyone walking with the Lord. Many say that taking such a dogmatic view of divine deity is near-sighted arrogance. Religious scholars agree there is no room for this type of pride in the vast, diverse world of religious flavors.

I am a person who would never be satisfied with a popular theory or an imaginative concept because I want the facts. I crave absolute truth because it makes my mind and spirit free to experience the glory of His presence, inner peace, and unshakable security. The Holy Bible is solid, unchangeable, uncompromising and is the most dependable document on earth to use as a blueprint and road-map to God’s throne. His inspired Word has been dissected under the intellectual microscope of modern genius and still, it shines with brilliant accuracy. It has never been found to produce any type of error yet is not called upon by the world to produce spiritual insight for living. For example, the Old Testament prophecies concerning the validity of who Jesus is, remain numerous and concise. The odds against such divine predictions happening to the minute detail would be 1 to the 57th power. Is that even a known number? Yet when tragedy or unexplained events occur, the world turns to psychics or soothsayers such as Nostradamus. Lost cities and civilizations that have puzzled historians for centuries have now been discovered by archaeologists who have used the Bible as a precise map of the ancient world. The Bible has become a priceless historical document, which scholars agree to be historically reliable. The consistent confirmation by science, along with every new archaeological discovery, continues to bring a harmonious and uniform conclusion that the Bible is true. As the pieces keep falling into place the proof substantiates what the Bible has said all along. There is no other religion that can produce a group of writings, which can even slightly compare to the Bible because only God’s Word is alive, divine or “breathed” by Him personally. Many other religious books have been found to be helpful but only the Bible contains the words God has revealed as His own. He has proven His theocratic kingdom since the beginning of mankind’s existence in spite of stubborn defiance, rejection, and blind pomposity.

We as a human race are so concerned with plants, animals and the environment becoming extinct but rarely meditate on the tragedy of losing the very truth that can manifest the miracles we need and desire. Why are we not more committed to preserving the life-source or our mind and the security of our future? It is not difficult to solve the mystery of who is responsible for trying to chisel away at our spiritual foundation and dilute the strength of truth in the heart of man until he is totally spiritually disabled. Satan has come to steal the truth because he knows the truth makes us free from sin. It is this burden and passion in my soul for divine truth that I write. I admit I have failed God so many times in my life that if I listened to the voices of discouragement, I would have never finished this work or felt worthy to do anything for the Kingdom of God. I believe in repentance to God and forgiveness from God. My cry has been that He might use me, similar to a carpenter who would use a level to make the walls and floors straight. When the structures are built no one exalts the hammers or the nails but rather the architect and that is the way it should be.

I have prayed that the master-builder of heaven and earth could use my life, that I could become a tool in His hands for His glory. What a privilege to be a part of His perfect plan for the world and to allow Him to include us in the big picture of His great commission. I remember the words of a wise Bible teacher who had spent his entire life researching the scriptures, he said,” I have discovered the more I learn about God and His Word, the more I realize how much I do not know.” Now that I am older, I am beginning to understand what he was trying to express. As I spend my life looking through a glass darkly, I look up to the horizon of hope and gaze out into an ocean of heavenly mysteries. As a young man, I recall not accepting “half-hearted” answers to spiritually difficult questions. Not being satisfied with vague explanations and the attempts to whitewash truth with the traditions of men, I have invested my time seeking “The Answer” to all things – Jesus, the Christ. Conflicting theories about doctrine and scriptural interpretation have caused such division in the body of Christ and it has all been caused by ignorance, pride, carnality, tradition, spirits of religion, narrow thinking and basically being led by our flesh instead of God’s voice. In no way am I saying myself or anyone else has a complete understanding of God or His Word. My personal worldview is by faith, God has kept the line of truth alive throughout the ages and will keep a remnant of people who will know Him and will stand for His absolute truth until the very end of the age.

My passion for understanding truth is the driving force behind my studies and often brings me to my knees, searching my own soul for reasons and answers and how desperate we are for the light of the gospel. We who are the disciples of Jesus Christ must learn to walk together in love toward our spiritual family or we will never know He who made us. If we cannot learn to love our own brothers and sisters in Christ, we will never have a burden for the lost souls of the world. How can we embrace our heavenly Father, yet reject association with His children? We cannot. We must continue to pray for the enlightenment of scriptural interpretation and the illumination of truth, that we may know His perfect will, which is for His entire body to move upon the earth as one organism. All Christians have the same heavenly Father and are a part of the same spiritual family, the same body of Christ, the same Church, and the same Holy Spirit.

God is complete and perfect truth and each person who follows God will be held accountable to the same truth. In Acts, the tenth chapter, thirty-fourth verse, Peter says, “In truth, I perceive that God shows no partiality.” In other words, He shows no favoritism to any one individual. There is not more than one road to the cross. We do not find our own path to salvation. We find His path. We do not worship the rituals of religion; they are only to be used as a vehicle for His presence. Will we pass the baton of absolute truth to the next generation of spiritual runners, or will we present yet another version of selfish excuses, powerless examples, and watery interpretations?

It’s no secret that since the beginning of civilization, the Biblical truth has been questioned and debated, causing hatred, bloodshed, wars, and death. Disagreements, pertaining to the Biblical interpretation of religious doctrine have brought confusion and frustration in Christendom, forcing groups of Apostolic pioneers to pull away from tradition and explore original trails, with seemingly “sincere”, new passionate ideas. Sometimes they were led by God to embrace His truth and pull away from apostasy, then other times many have turned away from God and followed their own imaginations. The problem is that mere mortals if not inspired by heavenly insight – are usually also “sincerely” wrong. A dangerous modern thought, which is gaining momentum, is the idea of many avenues leading to the cross. A popular name for this worldview is tolerance and is widely accepted as a new bridge of acknowledgment to create unity among the many different religious views and persuasions. Ironically the one issue upon which all religions agree with their own statements of faith is the aggressive stand of being that “one and only” avenue. The first fact we must settle is that biblical truth is absolute truth, because the “Spirit of Truth” spoke it, which is God Himself. Truth is not adapted or custom “fitted” to our emotions, but in today’s world, we see that God’s holy truth is being challenged. Truth cannot be twisted to fit our thinking, as each human being must allow their mind to be transformed and changed to fit God’s one true, perfect meaning. Absolute truth is engraved on the walls of eternity, and God will not accept someone’s rebellious attempt to find a new truth or scribble their own version of the truth with a religious “magic marker.”

All religions will consent to the fact that if everyone would obey the voice of God, there would be one harmonious church living in perfect love and unity. As the world watches in bewilderment, the question of the ages continues to echo “What is the voice of God saying?” In the Gospel of John, Chapter 16, Jesus is speaking about this absolute truth. Verse 13 says, “However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, (Holy Spirit) has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify me, for He will take of what is mine and declare it to you.” In this passage, we can be confident that God desires for us to know what is true, which will come when we devote our mind and heart to His presence. Absolute truth means that God’s truth is the same truth for everyone, and it does not matter what your concept of God is. If it is not HIS truth, your religion is in vain.

The intent of this seeker in this small compilation of writing is to search for the reasons behind our spiritual thinking. I realize that we, in this fragile shell of mortality, are limited somewhat to understanding every mystery and curiosity. But if we have been commanded to have the mind of Christ, we must begin to exercise our faith by enlarging our vision. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God.” (Philippians 2:5) Let us not presume the responsibility of this necessary spiritual thinking is reserved only for those who are in full-time ministry because everyone who is a Christian IS automatically in front-line ministry as far as God is concerned. How can you join an army and not be a full-time soldier? When Jesus called His disciples, they each followed Him and made the decision to have obedience to His voice as being the highest priority in their life. And now when we hear His call and respond by following Him, we also become disciples, receiving equal love, power, grace, gifts, instructions, and equal responsibility to represent the ministry of His Kingdom. We as the Body of Christ need to realize the importance of each member and what God has called us to be, regardless of our titles and offices.

Our opinions, ideas and convictions are the building materials used to construct our personal “house of doctrines.” God wants all of us to examine our mind and spirit to expose why we believe and the source of our creeds to embrace a particular type of spiritual “blueprints.” Psalm 127, verse one says, Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” Our personal doctrines are the persuasions of what we believe, which is the direct result of our thoughts. If our thoughts are wrong, our house, or life, is not built with God’s blessing. If we are incorrect in our concept of who God is and what His word says, then we are at risk of worshipping a religious philosophy. The American College Dictionary gives the definition of doctrine as a “particular principle, a collective body or system of teachings relating to a particular subject.” The absolute necessity for spiritual discernment is crucial for the understanding of divine doctrine since there is a world of “doctrines of men.” The reason it is so important to know what we are thinking and what we are not thinking is that our entire life on earth and our eternal future are directly influenced by the answers to the questions about why we believe. Not only is it a major concern for the Body of Christ to be unified in one voice, but also we are passing the baton of spiritual understanding to the next generation of church leadership. If the truth is being carefully taught to the youth of today then God’s agenda will continue, but if heresy and false teachings are planted, there will become a great famine of the gospel which is the power unto salvation. We must pray fervently for the preservation of holy thinking and against the attempts of the world’s system to contaminate the purity of biblical knowledge and wisdom. “Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” 1 Peter 1:13.

There are two spiritual kingdoms, the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of “I Am.” The world system is influenced by the kingdom of darkness and filled with ideas and thoughts related to independence, carnality and the never-ending search for contentment. The darkness is a spiritual condition in which all people are born, and only the blood of Jesus can deliver us from the bondage of sin and eternal separation from Him. When we hear the gospel and our deepest emotions become saturated with the conviction of the need to be forgiven, we stand at a crossroad of decision. If we choose to surrender our will to God, our spirit is supernaturally reborn, and we are given a fresh new life as an adopted child of our Heavenly Father. Our spiritual eyes and ears are opened to this new dimension as “The Light of the world” comes into our hearts and illuminates our mind and conscience. We receive forgiveness relating to our former condition and through the covenant of His salvation we can call upon Him as our friend, redeemer, Lord, and Savior.

The God of the Bible is “THE GREAT I AM”, the one and only true LORD and RULER of all things. Whether we believe His precepts and teachings or not, His kingdom is an establishment of spiritual reality and perfect truth. Our theology is the result of religious thinking, but all religious thinking is not absolute truth. We can study, interpret, come to conclusions, build our defenses and construct our resolutions, but if our thinking is not in line with God’s divine reason, our conception of what is real is distorted. It has never been the desire of God that everyone have an “opinion” of what He is saying, but rather for His one church, to be in one accord with the reality of His truth, which by the way, has no specific “man-made” denominational name. Beware of those who create new ideas and are led by their imaginative fantasies, it is not difficult to find a shepherd trying to assemble a sheepfold for the purpose of becoming a prosperous sheep owner. Facilitators that are hired to take care of the sheep are not always true shepherds. God calls people to do His work whatever it might be – not the impersonators or committees that think money is the key to control. Most of the time it is the unknown servant who quietly and faithfully listens to God’s voice and walks in a continuous fellowship of prayer that accomplishes more than entire religious congregations. The difference is identity. Those who are the remnant, “sons” are the light holders and filled vessels of the dynamic, supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. I heard a story the other day from an aging minister who was sharing about when he was growing up in the full-gospel churches. His father was an evangelist, and he had seen many strange but astounding miracles. He was asking, are the children of today seeing the power of God? Will they have the testimonies to share with their children and grandchildren about the Holy Spirit’s manifestations and demonstrations? Are the churches becoming embarrassed by the spiritual gifts because they are afraid the community will think they are crazy? When churches are willing to compromise and exchange the presence of God for money and worldly acceptance, we can know that God will remove His blessing and His candlestick from that assembly.

Earnestly pray and seek God for an understanding of the mysteries of His Word, and do not always trust what you have heard from people – only trust what you hear from God. “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” Philippians 2:12-13. We can rest in peace and security by knowing there is absolute truth in theological doctrine IF we are listening to the one spirit of truth. There is a world of difference between knowing books of facts “about” God and having a fervent passion to really “know” Him. This scripture should be the heartbeat of every committed follower, “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death” Philippians 3:10.

At the end of the age, the question will haunt us “What in the world were we thinking?’ When church members bring legal action against the local assembly and newspaper ads offer hourly rate compensation for intercessory prayer. When congregations of professing believers, who do not pray, worship or study, and are not convicted of the general lack of desire to know God personally. When multitudes of people who claim to be Christians, yet spend every waking moment indulged with carnality and sin, choosing worldly pleasure and meaningless entertainment rather than quiet communion with God. Where churches have been converted into religious corporations and weeping at the altar is being replaced with the bright lights of Hollywood showmanship and professionalism. What has happened to our spiritual conscience when adult men and women cry tears of sorrow and would fight to the death over a tree or a whale while not caring about lost souls? Or the unthinkable act of professing Christians openly supporting politicians who are responsible for approving legalized murder against unborn children. How can church members, who accept the lifestyles of deliberate sin be concerned about the dissolving of the sanctity of family values? We are seeing before our very eyes how educational leaders forsake absolute truth and compromise moral thought by choosing to inject liberal “strychnine” into our children’s impressionable minds and spirits. Each day we are witnessing our own government turn away from God’s truth and embrace an evil legal system that leaves bloodstains on their hands. Our leaders have refused to respect a Holy God while choosing to enslave the people with communism, imperialism, and radical socialism. We are seeing our Universities be converted from open-minded institutions of learning into hate-filled intolerant attitudes against anyone who does not believe exactly what they believe. What happened to the innocence and shame of the human culture when the gospel was presented, and yet the people still blindly cry, “Give us Barabbas”? There is obvious proof that we have become deranged in our priorities as an unlearned, insensitive world of educated zombies, filled with the agony of sin and selfishness, which have now become the enemies of God. Dear God, please help us. “Jesus wept” John 11:35.

CHAPTER 1

SEEKERS OF TRUTH

Have you ever noticed how some people are driven to find out what makes a watch tick while others do not even care what time it is? What type of complex personality drives them to want to know how long it would take to reach the nearest star traveling at the speed of light? Or to count backward every twentieth letter of the original Hebrew transcript of the book of Isaiah in order to discover coded messages pertaining to modern-day events? Some have spent their entire life gazing through a microscope or searching the vast expanse of theoretical physics, while others sit on the couch in a trance-like state watching meaningless images that have no temporal or eternal value. Is it mere curiosity, or the lack thereof, or the way our brains are fueled by certain chemicals or maybe our levels of drive and passion are based on the genetic arrangement? Does God flip a switch and awaken a slumbering soul to become a seeker? What causes an individual to pursue holy truth? The complex explanation is the reality that God has already included the potential for this desire into all of us and he can flip this switch whenever we discover this is the true meaning of life. He is just waiting for the divine appointment when they will listen, surrender and follow the Holy Spirit into the presence of God. This spiritual conception was seen from the beginning of time as there is nothing God does not know. There are labor pains associated with being born again and our experiences throughout our journey will help us understand how we had to die in order to live. It’s the elect’s destiny to follow God’s path and He gives us this life-changing desire to accomplish our destiny. We are heirs to His grace and mercy but if we follow our own path, we will end up in a dead-end of disappointment and be judged accordingly for our failure to obey.

Let us begin with the proclamation that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit make up the only divine deity called the Trinity. There is only one true God. He is absolute truth and there is none other like Him. He is Eternal past and eternal future, the creator of all things and the ruler and authority of all things. Every other entity that desires and demands worship is a false idol and an enemy to His glorious majesty. False gods are created by man and are neither holy nor divine. The world imagines and believes many sincere thoughts about following different paths to heaven but there is only one true path, one absolute truth, and one Lord.

There is good news for the seeker of truth, Jesus has promised that for those who seek His face, they will find His presence, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” Matthew 7:7-8. We notice in scripture the phrase over and over, “He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit has to say” and realize that God has never stopped speaking but very few have ever made the choice to listen. Though it’s rare to find these unique individuals, they do exist. The driving force to know and understand spiritual mysteries can be seen all around us in the form of love and kindness because the elect contains the image and character of their heavenly Father. Those who have labored and sacrificed their time and energy for the purpose of obtaining spiritual insight have been rewarded with His revelation knowledge, and there is no greater blessing than to receive the comfort of security and peace from God’s wisdom and to understand his absolute truth. These remnant warriors will stand fearlessly when the storm is raging and are sought out for spiritual wisdom when the world is in desperate need.

It does not take long when investigating the dangers of modern philosophy to learn about the contributions of a man named John Dewey. He has been given partial credit as one of the pioneers of cultural relativism. As a follower of Darwin, we learn that he was a member of a group of secular humanist that believed there are no absolutes. As Pilate asked, “what is truth?” we see that atheists down through time have held to the idea that truth cannot be clarified or explained. Their opinion is that truth changes as society and culture change, with morals being altered and transformed through the acceptance or rejection of the masses. This idea in itself is not difficult to agree, as there are some cultures like the Aztecs for example that have practiced cannibalism or genital mutilation among other horrific customs but this is not the entire point. It does not matter how evil or bizarre a community evolves, the Word of God has always been and will always be an unchangeable standard of absolute truth. It is true even if no one in this world believes it and is why God calls those who are not born-again, lost and blind. If everything is relative to our own personal opinions, then we have no measurement of sanity, morality or divinity. This humanistic philosophy promotes a lifestyle of living within your own choices and not being accountable to anyone for your thoughts or deeds. It is the ultimate blasphemy of the Bible and the heart of selfishness and self-glorification. This atheistic doctrine has spread like a virus to the intellectual community and is poisoning the influential minds of the next generation. It is protected by our government to be taught in our institutions of higher education along with evolution and alternative lifestyles for the purpose of desensitizing the influential minds of our youth. It is in total opposition to the Biblical view of definite truth and the unchanging laws of God and is another step toward the total collapse of the moral stability of America. If a child is not taught to respect God and His word they will – and are, being molded and programmed to respect the system of the world. How could we allow the Bible and prayer to become a crime against the law? How could we allow our colleges to become controlled by liberal professors who laugh at the doctrine of intelligent design? And slowly within the last one hundred years, we as Christians have allowed our elected officials and our legal system to become possessed with the spirit of anti-Christ and as a result of our liberal attitude against God’s truth, they have now ruined the beauty and character of innocence.

The pride of mankind has exalted his own thoughts above God, following the same path as Lucifer and will no doubt experience the same disappointing fall. God’s judgment is upon this nation and soon He will tear down the humanist foundations and allow the total collapse of this arrogant society as a punishment for their rebellion. The historical evidence proves the guaranteed failure of every society that sells their conscience and soul for personal greed and pleasure. To allow the heresy of cultural relativism to grow from a seed of thought into a forest of government-regulated education and political chaos obviously must reflect the attention deficit of the masses. What a perfect strategy for an enemy to destroy a culture, by having small but influential groups of squeaky wheels cry to lobbyists and legislators for political change while the average person drinks their coffee and reads the paper. Brick by brick the walls of the dark kingdom is being built and each day it becomes stronger and more difficult to demolish. Unfortunately, those who profess to be the spiritual thermometers of right and wrong are distracted and occupied with trying to possess the American dream. Christians are drowning in the sea of pagan influence while a demonic structure of accepted immorality along with an impotent legal system that protects the rights of those whose conscience is seared is being built right in front of their eyes. What is the excuse for not caring?

To remove the will of God concerning absolute truth would be like building a house without a concrete foundation. How could an intelligent civilization mentally grow and spiritually progress without absolutes? Without an anchor or a harbor, we are adrift in a turbulent sea of spiritual ignorance which explains the condition of our nation and world. Why would we allow the New World Order to implant confusion into the minds of our children for the purpose of breaking our future moral compass? Because the enemy of our soul has influenced the masses and distracted them to be more involved with their own selfish agenda than to concentrate and devote their lives to God’s truth. The Bible warns everyone to keep their eyes on Jesus or face the deadly consequences of rebellion and sin. Is it too late to build the levee that can hold back the flood of apostate persuasion? Absolute truth gives direction and boundaries where we can see and understand the distance of our limits, but without knowing where we are, we are lost. How can God save anyone until they first see they are going in the wrong direction? The conviction of the Holy Spirit gives the opportunity to allow God’s grace to open our eyes. If we refuse the invitation to be awakened to the divine truth, we are allowed to continue on our way to earthly and spiritual darkness.

We know of only one way to build a strong house, and that is, to begin with, a foundation resting on the solid rock. The same is true for building a strong, spiritually healthy life; we are to build our foundation of wisdom and truth upon “The Solid Rock” which is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is all Wisdom and all Truth. Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect, sinless life, teaching The Fathers desire to all mankind, working miracles in the people’s lives, and willingly laid down His life in the greatest display of love ever known. He was brutally crucified on a wooden cross as the innocent lamb, died a prophesied death, and miraculously resurrected from the dead, thus putting into effect everything He had promised and proved for all time that God is true and there is only one path to eternal life. He is all God, all man and a distinct member of the Holy Trinity, widely recognized as the Son of the Father, who now sits on the right hand of the Father on the eternal throne of heaven. The Father and the Son along with the Holy Spirit are the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent, three God’s in one, the highest order of magnificence and majesty in all of infinity. This Deity known as the “Godhead” or trinity, is the one and only true God, past, present, and future. We as mortals cannot comprehend three persons in one God, but by faith, we know and believe it is true. “For there are three that bear witness: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one I John 4: 7. We know that Jesus is the Word because of what the Gospel of John say’s in the first chapter and the first verse, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” So we realize the Godhead was from the beginning, is the creator of life, the Master of the universe and is literally eternal. We can put our faith and confidence in Jesus and know that we will not be disappointed.

There has always been a long line of deity “imposters”, those who love the feeling of power and authority and are addicted to the spirit of control. This present dispensation is no exception and as unpopular as it has become, again there can only be one King upon the throne, one will, one vision, and one voice who speaks one truth. The enormous quantities of man-made gods, and false religions now and throughout the ages, seem to reflect mankind’s internal need to bow down and worship a higher power. The danger of being a spiritually blind seeker is that many evil forces who dwell in this higher spiritual realm can “see in the dark” and are always’ patrolling for an open mind. Every choice that a human decides to worship as a “higher power” other than Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a literal dead end and in the judgment will be exposed as a religious masquerade. No other religion in the history of time has ever had their “prophet” rise from the dead except Jesus. He said in John 14: 6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” There is only one way to be spiritually free, and that is to allow Jesus Christ to break the slavery chains of the “I’m OK” syndrome. In John 8: 31, Jesus says’s “If you abide in My Word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Verses 34 –36 declares, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” Jesus is referring to spiritual slavery, and He is the only deity who can forgive sin and deliver a spirit who is stranded in this hopeless world of sin and confusion. A slave of sin cannot escape or break away from bondage on his own, we cannot just dream up some philosophy or put our hope in a fantasy, we must be set free by the only one who holds the keys to eternal life, and that is Jesus Christ. Let it be said, “There are NOT many roads to heaven!” There is one cross, one Savior, one Lord and one road that can reach the destination of salvation and eternal life.

Absolute truth is alive and well in the healthy, balanced mind of the true Christian, but the mental and spiritual conditions of those who are not chosen into the Kingdom of God are the causes of social chaos. We who are believers in absolute truth must blow the trumpet in Zion and sound the alarm of warning against the dissolving of spiritual sanity. Many who go to Church and lead average moral lives have no clue as to the real meaning of who they are in Christ, the details of their personal responsibility or the danger of being conformed to the world’s way of thinking. Only God knows the heart, but one possible scenario is mentioned in scripture about the masses of people who have never been born again, yet will mingle with the true Christians without realizing what they do not possess. This scenario is described in the parable of the wheat and tares which are found in Mathew, 13: 24 – 30 also 36 – 43. The Kingdom of heaven is referred to as a farmer who sows good seed into his field, but his enemy comes when he is not looking and plants an undesirable weed called a tare which looks very similar to the wheat into the same field. By the time it is recognized in the young sprouts, the wheat and the weeds have taken a solid root together. The servants ask the farmer if they should pull up the undesirable plants, but the owner, say’s in verse 29 – 30, No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” The elect is the “wheat” in this type and shadow parable and the non-Christians are these weeds or counterfeit wheat. They both live and function together and appear to be identical but the weeds are not wheat and will never be. They are imposters. A seed of a rose bush cannot be changed into a blueberry plant and neither can any other species become something other than a reflection of its internal identification.

A true Christian does not join as a volunteer or just evolve into the salvation process but they are created, called and selected as a specific person just like every other seed or species that is chosen to be. A tare cannot spiritually surrender himself or herself to become transformed into wheat because they are stamped with the genetic fingerprints of their original father and are a perfect reproduction, (like the first Adam) of the image of God. This may explain the many reasons why many church members have very little desire to investigate the intricate details of their faith or have a high priority to be transformed into the image of Christ in their thinking and actions. Church membership does not make anyone a Christian any more than walking into a barn makes one a horse, and it’s truly sad to think of how many people are putting his or her eternal hope that it will. A tare seed can mimic the life of wheat seed but will never become bread. The harvest is the judgment where God will look into the spirit of every man and woman, and His Awesome presence will reveal who are the children of His kingdom, and who are the children of the devil. Verse 41and 42 say’s, “The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire, where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” As God’s Word continues to be diluted with philosophy and psychology, there will be more tares drawn into the religious world, because those who have not been born again feel very comfortable in the environment of religion. Many who only want “fire insurance” will go through the motions to accept Jesus as their Savior, but their attitude and motive will not be sincere. Many will give no thought to the idea of surrendering their will as a servant would unto their master but if God does not have your heart, he does not have you. Christ must draw and pull a soul unto Him by His gospel or it is not a true experience. We do not find Him, He finds us.

There must be repentance and sorrow for past sin, a transformation of the spirit from death to life and a definite renewing of the mind to turn away from darkness and to draw near to the light. The true gospel has the power to invite and convict by the Holy Spirit, and when we surrender we receive ALL of Jesus Christ, it is what I call the total salvation package. He is to be our Lord and Master, our King whom we faithfully serve, we surrender our will and begin to do His will, listening to His voice and being obedient, mind, body, and spirit, growing and learning to obey his voice. If there is taught another gospel it is a false teaching, and a deception intended to satisfy your conscience. I believe there are teachings of heresies and doctrines of devils that have been created for the tares that fit perfectly with how they perceive life. Unfortunately, the more tares that are planted into the field, (world) the more “world” is brought into the places of worship, thus bringing in evil spirits, bad attitudes, negativity and every form of sin and strife. This is exactly why the public religious community has lost the holiness and power of the Holy Spirit. If the discernment of the wheat is not sensitive, Satan can infiltrate the house of God and bring destruction into the midst of peace, for the intent to ruin the integrity of the assembly and to influence and discourage the true believers. The parable of the leaven explains the danger of mixing sin together with purity. “Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out, therefore, the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” 1 Corinthians 5:6-8.

Satan already has control of the wicked locations of the earth but his desire is to poison the areas of God’s holy power and purity. We are reminded of the historical account of the evil king Ahaz, and his son Hezekiah in second Chronicles chapters 28 and 29. The father of Ahaz was king Jotham who was a Godly ruler who worshipped and served Jehovah, but when Ahaz became king, he molded images of Baal and other false idols, burned incense under every green tree and offered human children as sacrifices to the Ammonite god Molech. He went into the house of God, cut into pieces the articles of worship and locked up the doors. After the death of Ahaz and much spiritual suffering had come to the nation, Hezekiah becomes king and helps to bring restoration. The temple is opened, they cleanse and sanctify the house of the Lord; they renew their covenant with God and they pray and worship with joy and a pure heart. How many will lead the people into holiness and righteousness? How many will allow revival to begin with themselves and see it spread to all people and nations? Who will not be afraid to stand strong against the secular humanist and liberal thinkers, the modern-day religious Pharisees, and political hypocrites? Will you be a seeker who will stand or will you hide in the shadows and not become involved?

This God of the Alpha and Omega will share His glory with no one. He is the creator of all things and is sad when He sees His creation become filled with pride and deception, who think the bizarre thoughts that they could become equal to The Lord of Lords. Poor Lucifer, the classic example of how the ignorance of spiritual blindness can unite with the arrogance of pomposity, and who still does not comprehend the light of spiritual truth revealing the ugly reality of vainglory and foolish thinking. Many will say, “How does this apply to me, I have my own views, and it is my business.” The truth is, to begin with, you do not have your own affairs, everything you think should be God’s business. In first Corinthians, chapter six verses nineteen and twenty say’s, “What? Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own? For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which is God’s.” Of course, the price mentioned here is the blood of Christ as a result of the crucifixion and death of Jesus. If you are truly a Christian, there is no excuse to be mentally lazy as it is considered a shame to God and man to be ignorant of spiritual knowledge and wisdom pertaining to biblical revelation. God demands that we “study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman which needs not to be ashamed”. Our new spirit desires fellowship with God on a continual basis in study, prayer, and worship. It is our responsibility to provide the necessary time that our spirit needs to stay in tune with God and sharp with our discernment in the spiritual realm.

There is a severe infection, a disease that has grown into a plague. This devastating killer has the potential to destroy the world’s masses in such a deceptive manner that even though all who are contaminated will no doubt suffer greatly, most will never even realize they are ill. This infirmity is spiritual ignorance, which is simply another word for being unlearned, uninstructed and unknowing about the most important subject of life. Not just the lack of knowledge or ability to understand worldly concepts but ignorance about who we are, why we were born and what God has a desire for us to be. When the Bible mentions in Mathew 7:13-14, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.” The text is no doubt referring to the eternal destinations of those who choose the way they live, but this also exposes the vivid picture of a human race taking the wrong exit on the interstate of “Seeking Godly wisdom and spiritual truth”. God says in Hosea 4: 6, “My people are destroyed from the lack of knowledge.” This is not referring to the worldly intellect but rather the supernatural quickening or “revelation” of God’s word that can only be imparted by the Holy Spirit. If a person is not born again, they cannot comprehend spiritual truth because the eyes of their understanding have not been opened by the new birth of redemption. Only those who have God’s presence dwelling in them can hear His voice and begin to interpret His instructions. He said, “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me”

God stands with His arms open wide throughout everyone’s life, offering abundant blessings beyond mortal understanding, only to watch sadly as people whose hearts are hard and their mind filled with pride, walk through life’s journey alone. Snickering at the thought of ever being under the control of an invisible master, yet when they realize they have been blinded by lies and false imaginations, it is too late. Once the heart stops beating and the lungs take their last breath, the opportunities are over, the ride is finished no extra innings, no overtime. There are no purgatories or waiting rooms where prayers can change a life that has already lived. This is why we must understand the urgency of living the best we can now. As an individual, we are a highly valuable, precious image of The Almighty, who has paid the highest price of eternity for the ransom of our spirit. You see everyone who has ever been conceived is a spirit being; an internal representation of who we are that will exist forever after the body wears out whether we are born again or not. Eternity is guaranteed but the destination is the selection of the individuals from the foundation of the world. There is only one way to eternal life, and that is to be given the grace of selection and to receive Jesus Christ by faith into your mind to be intertwined with your spirit. He will rescue his people from eternal death and will deliver them from sin. “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will” Ephesians 1:4-5.

The cost of this redemption was God The Father’s only Son, Jesus Christ who came to earth in the form of a human, lived a humble life, ministered the life-changing power of the Father’s will and agreed to be the sacrifice for the sins of the world. His death was the accepted payment, which enabled forgiveness and in this passionate gift of love is the most treasured, highest valued substance found in the eternal depths of infinity, Jesus Blood. This blood was sprinkled on the mercy seat in heaven once and for all to rebuild the bridge of personal intimacy between God and the remnant which had been broken down in the Garden of Eden. Jesus has opened the door for the elect to become filled with his knowledge and spirit, to walk this earth as his image and representative of his Kingdom. He promises to fill the remnant with his faith and power that will produce the miracles needed to prove that he is God. I encourage you to search the Old Testament and discover how it is filled with types and shadows revealing who Jesus is and the covenant he desires for his people to embrace. God instructed Moses to build a highly detailed, portable sanctuary in the desert called the “Tabernacle”. The complex detail of this earthly shadow is the spiritual symbolism of God’s heavenly idea of salvation. In this miraculous structure and contents are one of the most fascinating and encouraging blueprints of our faith as a confirmation of the reality of who Jesus is and what he has provided for us. As a seeker may God give you the illumination of His word, and may you understand the power and beauty of his knowledge.

The times we live in provoke me to remark that we should not be surprised at the avalanche of heresy, since it was foretold, and has been present from the very beginning. Second Timothy 3:1-7, delivers a very vivid picture of what to beware and have discernment against. “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, those who condemn, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of Godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For this kind are those sneak into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lust, always learning yet never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Christ laid down one definite system of absolute truth that has been spoken to those whom the Father has given to Him. When Godly wheat seeds are awakened they will follow the instructions of their Lord and represent God’s kingdom of light. Each sheep will be judged according to their obedience to the Holy written word and the Holy Spirit. The serpent tare seeds represent the kingdom of darkness as a goat that worships idols, materialism, and false religions that have been a common part of human society throughout the ages. Humans have a soft spot when it comes to fearing the unknown and this spiritual insecurity seems to reflect mankind’s internal need to bow down, worship and show reverence to a higher power or something they adore. It has always been easier to yield and worship something that can take the blame than to stand up, make decisions and take personal responsibility. Much of the ancient world was quick to accept a new idol or belief system, the same way our modern society chooses the flavors of religious concepts. Many cults and organizations have taken advantage of those who presented themselves as willing followers or disciples just so they could feel the acceptance, false security and a sense of belonging. Great civilizations have focused on meaningless theories and philosophies to the point of self-destruction by creating a god out of every thought in their imaginations because it brings a feeling of confidence and a certain boldness to build your own views. Unfortunately, we see this ugly, carnal personality in the religious world, when instead of sending out the message of love and unity, they send out the message, that if you do not believe exactly like we do, then you are wrong and headed for eternal regret. The clay has always wanted to be the potter. We tend to think of uncivilized heathens, cutting themselves and conducting barbaric rituals, but just because people evolve in social culture, it does not necessarily mean they have become less deceived in their religious imaginations. Judgment is not intended toward those who build strong walls around their religious worldviews; rather the alarming issue is the attitude of arrogance and pride as they teach these theories that are not based on biblical truth.

The power-hungry cravings of human nature have focused their attention on knowledge to bring them the satisfaction of peace, only to discover the empty and unfulfilled life of spiritual misery. Mankind when left to himself can become so distorted in his thinking, that it is quite common to find large groups and even entire nations worshipping and giving their lives for nothing more than a carved wooden or stone image. Like gazing into the mirror of their soul, they create a reflection of themselves, an imaginary dream of the way they desire their god to be. Constructing a new “spiritual” version of who they wish they were or in other words man creating God in his own image. The same way many intelligent religions have worked hard to develop this comfortable image to fit their ideal theology is actually a cry of the spirit to be born again. This dangerous condition can deceive a good person and lead them into spiritual devastation very similar to a rowboat peacefully floating down the river only to find a huge two-hundred-foot waterfall around the next bend. God is not the way we think he is, he is the way that He is! Instead of God’s people uniting together in His Spirit to accept Him the way He is, we have broken apart into thousands of god manufacturers, promoting the chaotic message of “My god is better than your god.”

Religion is not to be associated with Christianity. Religion was introduced as a camouflaged mimic to spiritual reality, by the evil spirit of Satan, to bring division and confusion for the purpose of deceiving the human mind and capturing the eternal soul of mankind. Satan the famous impersonator has a counterfeit for every true spiritual reality; he is always the anti – Christ. Religion is quite often lavishly dressed up in the finest glitter and gold, with a very knowledgeable message of subtle deceptions, false piety, emotion, hypocrisy, and twisted half-truths. This absence of Biblical understanding about the realities of the physical and spiritual dimensions has produced chaos, destruction, and death, exactly what was promised in this next scripture. The book of Hosea is not only a historical account of the sins of Israel and God’s tough love, but also a type and warning to our generation about the consequences of turning away from the absolute truth of God and drifting into the spiritual realm seeking strange worship. God had brought a severe charge against the people for failing to recognize His authority as Israel’s covenant Lord. The priest and prophets of that day had become lethargic in teaching the absolute truth of God’s Word, slowly causing a meltdown of knowledge and a dissolving of respect and fear pertaining to God’s instructions, thus bringing judgment and the downfall of the nation. In today’s society, the responsibility of the Christian disciple is to stand boldly and teach the uncompromised Word of God without political influence, fear, intimidation or financial pressure from special interest groups. Many assemblies can grow cold and spiritually stagnant when the members allow themselves to be backed into the “compromise corner” and surrender to the evil controlling demons that disguise themselves as religious angels of light. Many times the agreement to comply with this powerful and deceptive enemy includes the flow of material security and popular success for the leadership, which has the troubling similarity to the betrayal of Jesus by Judas for thirty pieces of silver. In Hosea chapter 4, it goes on to say how the priest gave in to the people’s sin and took advantage of the gifts and benefits of the wealthy, greedily accepting the meat from their hypocritical and empty sacrifices. “They eat up the sin of my people; they set their heart on their iniquity.”

There are great honor and accountability to being the representative of the kingdom of God, but along with this high calling comes the requirement to be the faithful mouthpiece speaking God’s thoughts only. Jesus describes the liability of the servant and the evaluation of his intentions in Luke 12:47– 48, with the parable of the faithful and wicked servant. “And the servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he, who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him, they will ask the more.” God is calling His teachers and servants in this modern day of Grace and Mercy to fall on their face, listen to His voice and speak HIS Word, the spiritual “medicine” which will bring healing to the heart, humility to the mind and strength to the spirit.

The danger of being a spiritually blind seeker is that many evil forces that dwell in this higher spiritual realm can “see in the dark”. There are entities that watch for the curious and can lure the seeker into danger trying to prevent the miracle of transformation. The good news is the power of God’s Word will guide a sincere heart into the light of His salvation with the protection of his authority. God has never lost a predestined spirit and Satan cannot steal a soul from God that has already been sealed. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand” John 10:27-29. This is the confidence we have in our eternal security. If God has selected you, he will call you. Jesus will help you and be with you in your transformation and for all eternity. The tares may choose a “higher power” other than Jesus Christ of Nazareth but it will always be a literal dead end.

No other religion in the history of time has ever had their “prophet” rise from the dead except Jesus. He said in John 14: 6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” There is only one way to be spiritually free, and that is to allow Jesus Christ to break the slavery chains of the “I’m OK Syndrome.” In John 8: 31, Jesus says’s “If you abide in My Word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Verses 34 –36 says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” Jesus is referring to spiritual slavery, and He is the only person who can forgive sin and deliver a spirit who is stranded in a hopeless future without Him. A slave cannot escape or break away from bondage on his own, we cannot just dream up some strategy or put our hope in a fantasy, but we must be set free by the only one who holds the keys to eternal life, and that is Jesus Christ.

Absolute truth is alive and well in the healthy, balanced mind of the true Christian, but the condition of an unenlightened mind who does not have the reverential fear of the Lord. Many today could care less about preserving truth to the future generations, which is the purpose of blowing the trumpet in Zion and urgently sounding the alarm of warning. Many who go to the assembly and lead average moral lives but have no clue as to the real meaning of who they are in Christ and most do not really seem to care. As long as no one tampers with their religious opinions and their reserved front row seats to heaven they seem to be totally content and satisfied to enjoy the blessings. Of course, this changes when something bad happens as they beg everyone to get serious and pray. The Lord never intended to become someone who is only called upon or talked to as a first responder. He desires that we have a constant and intimate relationship with Him. There is a general question that has been asked in many revivals throughout the centuries, which has convicted countless individuals to rededicate their commitment to Christ. Do you really know Christ? In many cases, people have discovered they had never really been born again, they only thought they were. When those who profess Christ lack the desire to study God’s Word, or witness to others about salvation when they have no love for others, do not pray, or worship God in spirit and truth, there is something uncertain, something unsettled within the obvious requirements of being committed. We as Christians are supposed to be devoted and intimate with the Lord in our short stay here on earth, a time of engagement if you will. Spending our most quality time with Him, and becoming more familiar with Him, before we “marry” Him is the whole concept of what Christianity is all about. It’s important to study the blood covenant and to learn what it means to be bonded with God in holy matrimony. Jesus is our groom and His people are His bride. One day God will look into the spirit of every man and woman, and He will reveal who are the sheep, the children of His kingdom, and who are the goats, the counterfeit children of darkness.

We cannot forget when Jesus came on the scene, while the religious world was bursting with arrogance. The Pharisees, Sadducees, and Scribes were probably the most religious people who ever lived. They were trained as children to memorize large portions of the Pentateuch and were very knowledgeable concerning the Law of Moses and the rituals pertaining to religious sacrifice. They were shocked and insulted when Jesus tried to explain to them about motives and intentions. It was much easier to function in a “Visible” world, instead of trying to understand about how God wanted them to go beyond works of ritual and the outward appearance of holiness, to the inward cleansing of the heart, the transformation of the mind and the re-birth of the spirit. We take a small portion of Mathew chapter 23 and listen to the response of Jesus in verse 27, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness”. In chapter 16, it is interesting to also meditate on the warning Jesus gives about the attitude and influence this religious spirit can bring into the midst of sincere disciples, and how a disease can be spread among God’s people. In verse 6, Jesus says, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees”. His disciples at first thought He was making a reference about bread but later realized He was speaking about the dangerous doctrine and corrupt sway religion has on the personal relationship with Christ and His body. Leaven as yeast is a small ingredient but it makes a complete change in the overall content of what it is added to. Jesus was saying that if corrupt religion is allowed to blend in with the body of righteous believers it could have a negative impact on the entire assembly and bring a disastrous effect on many individuals. His words ring so true, as today it is seen in many places around the world the negative influence religion has established. Many believe the impure spirit connected to the idea of church in Jesus’s day is the same spirit that is visible today. The concept of what church is and what it has become is a very interesting study for the ones that seek revelation.

As society continues to dilute the Christian message with modern psychology and political correctness, there will be more tares drawn into the liberal way of thinking. Those who have not been redeemed feel very comfortable in the environment of a carnal worldview. Many who are satisfied with a form of godliness will accept Jesus as a Savior, but will not submit to Him being their Lord. This will not be accepted. There is only one throne in our heart and room for only one king. It is the most sacred place of our being and can only be occupied by self, the devil or Jesus Christ. The true, full gospel is when a heart is drawn by the power of the Holy Spirit and in repentance, we receive ALL of Jesus, not just the good parts. He is to be our Lord and Master, our King and High Priest, our Mediator and our Living Water, whom we faithfully serve. We are required to surrender our will and do His will completely, in our mind, body, and spirit. If there is taught another gospel, it is false teaching, and deception intended to satisfy our conscience, that we might live the life of a tare. The more tares which are sown into the field, the more of the “world” is brought into the places of worship, thus bringing in evil spirits, bad attitudes, negativity and every form of sin and strife. If the wheat’s discernment is not sensitive, Satan can infiltrate the house of God and bring destruction into the midst, for the intent to quench the Holy Spirit, to ruin the integrity of the assembly and to influence and discourage the true believers. This God of the Alpha and Omega will share His glory with no one, for He is the creator of all things and is sad when He sees His creation become filled with pride and deception. Because of the freedom of imagination, the helpless clay becomes filled with bizarre thoughts that they could become equal to the potter. God does not control our thinking unless we allow Him to sit on the throne of our hearts and reign as the master of our life. It is time for the people of God to remove themselves from being their own decision-maker and allow El-Elyon to become the Lord and King they so religiously profess. How easy it is to talk the talk of being totally sold out to the will of God, yet many have never even tried it. Poor Lucifer, the classic example of how the ignorance of spiritual blindness can unite with the arrogance of pomposity and then still not comprehend the light of spiritual truth revealing the ugly reality of our vainglory and foolish thinking. Many will say, “How does this apply to me, I have my own views, and it is my business”. The truth is, that if you are truly a Christian, having your own views is no excuse to be unlearned; it is considered a shame to God and man to refuse to know God’s desire pertaining to His spiritual revelations. II Timothy 2:15 declares, “Study to show yourselves approved unto God, a workman which needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

There is a severe infection, a disease, which has grown into a plague. This devastating killer has, the potential to destroy the world’s masses in such a deceptive manner that even though all who are contaminated will no doubt suffer greatly, most will never even realize they are ill. This infirmity is ignorance, which is simply another word for being unlearned, uninstructed and unknowing. Not just the lack of knowledge or ability to understand worldly concepts but spiritual ignorance about why we were born and what Jesus has died for us to be. When the Bible mentions in Mathew 7:13-14, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.” The text is no doubt referring to the eternal destinations of those who choose the way they live, but this also exposes the vivid picture of a human race taking the wrong exit on the interstate of “Seeking Godly wisdom and spiritual truth.” God stands with His arms open wide throughout everyone’s life, offering abundant blessings beyond mortal understanding, only to watch sadly as people whose hearts are hard and their mind filled with pride, walk through life’s journey alone. Snickering at the thought of ever being under the control of an invisible master, yet when they realize they have been blinded by lies and false imaginations, it is too late. Once the heart stops beating and the lungs take their last breath, the opportunities are over, the ride is finished, no extra innings, no overtime. Each individual is a highly valuable, precious image of The Almighty, who has paid the highest price of eternity for the ransom of your spirit. You see, everyone who has ever been conceived has a spirit, an inner person who will live forever after the body wears out. Eternity is guaranteed but the destination is the choice of the individual’s freedom to choose whom they will serve. There is only one way to eternal life, and that is to receive Jesus Christ by faith into your mind, then receiving Him as your Lord, to be joined together with Him “intertwined” with your spirit. He comes into your heart and breathes the breath of spiritual life into you and you become a new creation, a child of God, made in the image of the One who made you. He begins to live in your conscience, speaking to your mind and spirit, waiting for you to love Him and fellowship with you. Your brand new spirit cries out for Him, desiring His presence and His Word. Your new spirit loves to worship Him and obey every request from Him. He longs to rescue the world from eternal death and offers freely the gift of deliverance from sin. The cost of this redemption was The Father’s only Son, Jesus Christ who came to earth in the form of a human, lived a humble life, ministered the life-changing power of the Father’s will and agreed to be the sacrifice for the sins of the world. His death was the accepted payment, which enabled forgiveness and in this passionate gift of love is the most treasured, highest valued substance found in the eternal depths of infinity. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16.

This blood was sprinkled on the mercy seat in heaven once and for all to rebuild the bridge of personal intimacy between God and man, which had been broken down in the Garden of Eden from sin. “But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood he entered in once into the Holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us” Hebrews 9:11-12. God instructed Moses to build a highly detailed, portable sanctuary in the desert called the “tabernacle of Moses”. The High Priest would enter into the Holy of Holies with this offering of blood to be sprinkled upon a golden piece of furniture called the “Mercy Seat”. On the lid of the Ark of the Covenant which had two angels on each side, this altar was a type of Christ and where the presence of God met with earthly mediators once a year to receive the sacrifice for the sins of Israel. The symbolism of this miraculous structure and its contents are very fascinating and encouraging to our faith as a confirmation to the reality of the complex spiritual truth of salvation. Just as the Father met with the Old Testament priest (as a vow that He would honor His word) and accepted the blood of animals as a covering for sin, He met with His own Son on the cross and accepted the ultimate payment as a permanent redemption for the sin on the elect. The Old Testament is filled with types and shadows revealing the mysteries of Jesus as God and the benefits of His blood covenant and Here are three excellent resources which I highly recommend for study references: “The Blood Covenant” by E.W. Kenyon, “The Precious Blood” by David Alsobrook and “Let Us Draw Near” by Judson Cornwall.)

Are we a seeker of religion, or a seeker of the person Jesus Christ? Do we desire a ritual or a personal relationship? What are we seeking? And what will we do when we find it? If you feel God drawing you today, just take the time right now and talk to Him. “O God in heaven, I accept your love and your forgiveness for my life right now. I believe in my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that you raised Him from the dead. I surrender my will to you and I desire for you to be the Lord of my life. Help me to believe! Help me have more faith. Help me to understand. From this moment forward, my life belongs to Christ, and Him only shall I serve. I ask you to forgive me for seeking religion with my physical eyes instead of seeking you with my heart. Help me to see and feel the true spiritual reality of your presence. I realize that I need you desperately. Thank you for making yourself real to me right now.” Amen.
